IBM Desktop no sound after i tried to connect it to Television

check the connectiion cable and tv setting faults, if their is non then know your audio jack pin port is faulty. in case of the jack pin port fault you need to acquire pci audio card that you insert at the extesion slots or a usb audio card.

I have problem with my IBM think center.my sound driver is not working again after formatting my PC

is it an integrated audio device or a sound card? i own a thinkcentre and i had the same problem, but just going into the device manager and right clicking on the problem device and updating the driver solved it for me, but i also added a soundblaster audigy ls sound card and both work fine now, however i have the same problem on my other pc, a dell, and i cant solve that one. another reason on my list of many to not buy a dell.

Sound device problem

you will need to install drivers for your device, what is the name of the device, you may also need motherboard drivers and others ones too as well, if you can connect to the web then do a windows update.

Think pad r40/2681(driver prob.i.e. usb/wireless/sound etc.)

Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows XP or Vista device drivers for your model laptop,
You need to use a computer that has Internet access to download and transfer the files to your computer.

Take your memory card out and insert the memory card to laptop or desktop and then try to format it . If you are getting any message like access denied then download software called unlocker . You can use this software to access the memory card .

IBM Netvista desktop bios problem

this is more like a workaround that I used on a laptop which cd room drive just failed (and which I did not want to replaced as it was more expensive than the whole laptop)

If you can't select the device you want to boot from.. you may want to partition your hdd and format it so it loads a dos operating sytem .. use another machine and a win98 startup disk to do this then copy your I386 folder from your winxp cd into the new formatted hdd so when you put the hdd back into the IBM machine it loads dos and then going into the I386 folder you can run a winnt command for you to install the os.

IBM Netvista desktop bios problem

First of all if you re formatted the drive You have lost ALL of the information on that drive. Next you don't need to go through BIOS in order to boot from a disk. You can press F8 on the screen that you would normally enter BIOS with.

Hope This Helps
