Problem with HTC G1 Smartphone

Problem sending SMS with HTC G1

I can not find the place where to check the centre message number, if is it right or not.
Anyone can help me?

    • Yes I know that it's not a phone probs but I can find in the several options where to check the number of the message centre of my career. Already phone to the assistance but they said SIM is ok and it's only a prob referred to this number. But I can not find it!!!

    • Well thx for help but now I can see that GSM is inactive and disconnected; GPRS service disconnected. What can I do now? I do not find any place where to check if it's the right number concernig the service messagging centre. Try to send a SMS and it seems that it's still pending but after 30 sec I got a n undelivered message notification. THX in advance.

Turn the device off and then back on.
Verify that the device's signal strength.
Attempt to place a call and connect to the Internet.
Attempt to write and send a new text message.

    • Sorry! I didn't realise that the service center number could be effected. It is normally auto installed



      Select the dialer
      Please type *#*#4636#*#*
      Select phone information
      Scroll to the bottom and type in +12063130004 in the SMSC: box
      Tap update
      Press the home key

    • That is the correct service center number for T-mobile. It is the only service center number, lol.



      The GPRS issue is a different problem and you will need to call Tech support to get them to refresh you on the network. Or you can simply try removing the battery for 30 seconds and turning the phone back on.



      There may be an outage in the area effecting you at this time, but this requires a call in to find out.

Friend as an prof.technician of mobile phone i'll say that failure of sending the sms is not a phone problem it is a network problem once the software assgned to your number fails it will not process sending. so all you have to do is go to your network provider namely smart and ask their assistance it is free so you can avail it immediately. good luck hope i helped you

My handset model no. is HTC P3400i.
My problem is I don’t know the where are the save for massage center no.
Pl. solve this problem.
