Hello,
The numerical solutions to certain differential equations can be sought graphically. Representing the flow lines in a plane can help visualize the family of solutions.

Hope it helps.

How do I access the functions above the keys?

Depending on the calculator, some are colour coded, so to get the function you want, you hit the associated colour function key and then the key with the function. Some calculators have two different colours, so each key has three functions assigned to it, one without a function key, one with colour key 1, and one with colour key 2.

Good luck,

Paul

I purchased 2 of the exact same calculators and set them up at the same time. one prints in blue & red...the other one prints only in blue. How do I get it to print in the 2 colours?

perhaps you need a 2 coloured ribbon in both?
Perhaps setting them up in the same time was not a guarantee you have the same settings in both? check the manual to see how you can activate and use both colours.

A blue line appeared on the calculator when I changed batteries and now it will not turn on. What is the problem

Sounds like you probably dropped the calculator and it broke. The line that you spoke of is a common problem that is seen when calculator's take a fall. Seems like when it first fell, the screen broke a bit. And then from moving around and stuff, it's completely broken. I would contact Casio and see if they have a store that you can bring it in to get it checked out. Sorry. Hope this helps...

How to Calculate IRR?

To calculate IRR and NPVEnter the cash flows as follows, remembering the sign convention:
  • Clear previous data by pressing fXY and fCLX.
  • Enter the cash flow at time zero using # gPV [# CF0].
  • Enter subsequent cash flows using # gPMT [# CFj].
  • If a cash flow is repeated, enter the number of times it is repeated (including the first time you just entered) using # gFV [# Nj]. For example, three equal flows in a row would be entered as3 Nj.
  • When you have entered your last cash flow:
    • If you are calculating an NPV, enter your interest rate as # i (consistent with interval between cash flows) followed by fPV [NPV].

    • If you are calculating an IRR, enter fFV [IRR].

I did not come up with this solution. Just found it for you.

Can't find the on/AC button and erase the memory - memory function not even working correctly - calculator appears stuck

The ON/AC button is the button in the top right of the keyboard, set aside from the others, slightly larger than the others and has an orange coloured line around it. Its labeled "ON/AC", not really that hard to miss :-)

If pressing this button does not resolve your other problem(s?), please give a more detailed description: what exactly is not working correctly, what do you mean by "stuck"? (I.e. what did you expect to happen and what do you experience instead.)
