Question about Bosch Washing Machines
I have a Bosch WFF2000 (recon. exchange) Had for 9 years, so I'm not complaining. However, the prewash light comes on after somewhere during the final wrinse with full water. This stops the cycle and I have to turn the machine off and turn the dial back round to a similar position. When I turn the machine back on the pre wash light dissapears and it completes the wash cycle.....most times. This is an intermitant problem. I suspect this is an expensive problem to fix and i'm gonna have to let this dependable machine go???

it sounds very much like the carbon brushes in the drive moter. the best way is to remove the motor and then you can also check the commutator for wear as well. model no and serial no needed to get spares, sometimes moter type.
