Engine swap: 440 into a '97 ram sport 2wd

Some Chrysler ,Jeep and Dodge vehicles have ttye pressure sensors calibrated to the vevicle,so therefore if you change the
tyres to a different type you will need to take your vehicle to a C.J.D.
service department to have the computer of your car re-programmed to accept the new tyres

Is it possible that you did not swap the ECM module along with the engine

P1297 DODGE Description The Engine Control Module (ECM) detected no change in MAP sensor voltage.

- MAP Sensor harness is open or shorted
- MAP Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty MAP Sensor
- Faulty ECM

This code will not stall or no start of your engine, evap only work when engine is off, it is to reduce the fume your gas tank lets out to protect the o zone, but it will not pass Emission test, also could be some thing a small as your gas cap not sealing right.

u probably jus hav to buy new ones ... if u dont know how to put them in then right me back and il tell u .

It may be a bad starter or the starter solenoid. If by not starting you mean it will not turn engine, but if the engine is turning then the starter is turning so it is something else all together.
Starters will usually work when they are cold then once warm or hot they will not work.
