Question about Nokia 6210 Navigator Cell Phone

MY PHONE KEEPS FREEZING

MY NOKIA 6210 NAVIGATOR FROZE SO I TOOK THE BATTERY OUT BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T EVEN SWITCH OFF. THEN WHEN I PUT IT BACK ON IT SAID THAT MY MEMORY CARD WAS CORRUPTED AND ALL MY MUSIC, GAMES AND PICTURES WERE NO LONGER ON MY PHONE. I THEN REMOVED THE MEMORY CARD TO SEE IF IT WOULD HELP THE PROBLEM BUT THEN WHEN I PUT IT BACK IN MY PHONE JUST FREEZES UP AND I HAVE TO REMOVE THE BATTERY TO GET IT WORKING AGAIN. MY PHONE IS NOT EVEN PICKING UP THAT THERE IS A MEMORY CARD IN. IT IS ONE OF THOSE SANDISK MICRO MEMORY CARDS-1GB. PLEASE HELP!

    IM ACTUALLY NOT INTERESTED IN RETRIEVING THE DATA THAT MAY HAVE BEEN LOST, WHEN THE TAKE THE MEMORY ARD OUT THE FONE IT'S STILL FROZEN AND I HAVE TO REMOVE THE BATTERY TO GET IT RIGHT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THE MEMORY CARD IS DEAD? PLEASE ELLABORATE

    My problem is exactly the same but i find it extremely difficult to get the memory card and battery out, I feel like i am about to break it. How do you get it out?

The problem could be the memory card. Try and remove the memory card and if the phone is normal the memory card is dead. I do not know of any means of retrieving your lost data. Sorry.

    Well memory cards have a life span of unknown numbers and sooner or later they end up not working, since flash memory has no moving parts it is much harder to understand how they "die" or "fail" it is very hard to explain, but it is dead. There are no means I know of to retrieve your data. The problem is the MEMORY! You even said it yourself. Why would you put the memory back if its dead? Do not take it out and reset the phones setting just a soft reset is great, see what happens and tell me! I don't want your phone to fail that is a great phone! ;)

Hi,thanks for using fixya,
Just follow the steps
Take a full backup.

First Try it:
You may try default phone and security code to remove it
Default phones codes is 12345 or 00000 you can use it

Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.
If
Soft reset( factory setting)

On Sybmian phones:
*#7780# - Restore factory settings
*#7370# - Reformat your phone (back up your personal data with PC Suite or to the memory card first!)

Hard reset
Back up your personal data with PC Suite or to the memory card first!

Switch-off your phone.
1. Press and hold three keys at a time;it is called "3 finger reset" which is depress these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone whilst keeping those same three keys depressed until you see formatting.

If you dont understand, again follow the step.
You will use three finger for pres three keys ."green phone"+ "3" +star( *) and pres the power on switch.

All switch will be pressed at a time.

Soon an formatting text, will appear ,then stop pressing those switch,

Remember.
2. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone will back to original system and factory stetting.

Cracked screen, all numbers saved on phone, not on sim card and i cannot get the numbers off the phone.


install the Nokia PC Suite connect the phone and make backup of phonebook,sms etc.

my phone froze and i attenpted to turn it off several times, after trying and not getting a response i took out the battery pack and placed it back in and turned the phone back on. after turning the phone back on it kept freezing a
