Hi, you can download the drivers needed here at intel:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&keyword=%22D945GCCR%22

Or use this utility:

http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect

Or run windows update.

The drivers needs to be unziped before installation.

Here is a free unzip program:

http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Click on the exe file for download.

Hope this will help you.

I am unable to listen sound in windows 7 , and it is not accepting sound drivers of mother board cd, but the same is accepted in xp sp-3

The driver on the CD may be too old (or an unsigned driver which can't be loaded in the 64-bit OS) to be compatible with Win 7. Try downloading the latest driver from the Intel site for the on-board sound:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+945+Express+Chipset+Family+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+D945GCCR
Select your Win7 version. I saw 3 different updates of the Realtek Sound drivers under Win7 32 bit.

Alternatively, set Windows 7 to look for hardware driver updates and install them (they might end up in the Windows Update section until you go there and install the update). I did this in Win7 by going to the Device Manager (Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager). Right click on the audio device and choose Update driver (or Properties and the Driver tab). If the Device Manager shows a triangle with an exclamation point, this is an easy solution most of the time.

I hope this helps.

Can't install the realtek driver

Check the BIOS settings first and get it confirmed that the Audio is set to Enable or Auto, if you Audio is on-board device. Then try to install the drivers. (ehteshamhusain@gmail.com)
