It is possible that there is a problem with the connection from your power supply going to the main board of your laptop. This is rather a technical problem and my best recommendation is to bring your laptop to a technician and have them check it.
Plug first you computer o rather laptop to your TV with the right cable then right click to your desktop. Select properties then select settings then in the display drop down box choose number two click apply and hit ok.
Then before you close the lid...hit FN (color blue key)
then hit f5....it will switch to your LCD to your TV. Enjoy.
