Question about Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Console
Try to replace the battery. I know that some video game units have a type of circuit protector built in to the circuits. This prevents the damage of the product by either bad power, ESD (Electro Static Discharge), or something of that nature. The reason why this would be a possible reason is because you could have either a shorted out battery or something has happened inside the GBA. This is also the easiest and cheapest way. By replacing the battery you can then tell if you need to get a new GBA.
