SOURCE: Euro Pro 9105 won't catch bobbin thread

First make sure the needle is in the machine correctly- all the way up into the needle bar and that it is threaded correctly, etc

If this all checks out ok, take the bobbin case out of the machine. There are two ears on either side of the bobbin case- turn the left one to the left and the right one to the right. Remove the silver ring, and inspect the piece of metal that the ring came off of (looks like a circle with the top cut off). You have to locate the hook which is the piece that looks like a half moon inside the big round metal piece. Locate the tip of it, turn the handwheel toward you until the needle is in the lowest position, at this point the tip of the hook should be flush with top of the left side of the cut off circle. If this is not so, your machine needs to be re-timed which can be done from the bottome of the machine usually.

Let me know if you need any help with this

SOURCE: how to thread euro pro serger

If the thread guide in printed on the side of the door or on the machine, you will need to follow the threading sequence.

Turn off the power.

Raise the thread antenna to it's highest position.

Open the tensions (set at zero). If the serger has automatic tensions, raise the presser foot as this also opens the tensions.

Turn the handwheel so the loopers are at their highest position.

Begin threading from the right to the left - lower looper is usually the first to be threaded.

After threading, set the tensions back to the normal setting and stitch a chain of thread and it should be knitted/interlocking.

I need the manual instru tions for euro-pro x 420

Here's a manual:

Euro Pro 420 Instruction Manual

Troubleshooting is on page 62.

P.S.--it is usually a good idea to always raise the presser foot when threading the upper thread. That helps seat the thread in the tension disk.

Also, change the needle often (ie, every time a new project is begun or whenever it is damaged/bent/dull.

The upper thread on my Euro-Pro 7535 keeps breaking.

Have you checked your tension for the thread and material? Is the same thread and in the bobbin too?
If you can tell where i t,is getting caught, does this not solve your problem? Is the plastic thread feeder, rough? you can use very fine emery paper to smooth it out. :-)

How to thread euro-pro 150 sewing machine

    Hi
    Try looking on here:
    http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Threading_Diagrams.htm
Although your model number is not listed, they do have threading diagrams for other Euro-pro machines. Perhaps one is similar enough to your machine to allow you to thread it and get started.
I'm not sure what's happened to the Euro-pro site, it seems to have been taken over by Shark and no longer has a sewing machine manuals section as it did before.
    Hope this helps!

I have a Kenmore 385 1664180...the top thread won't pick up bobbin thread...I have done a good cleaning job and still cannot get a stitch...

    Rule #1: DON'T PANIC!! :-)

Change the needle (it might be bent). Make sure the flat part of the shank of the needle is facing the correct way according to your manual. Then take all the thread out and rethread everything, making absolutely sure you're threading it correctly.

This should solve your problem. Let me know, ok? And kudos to you for keeping your machine clean!

Threading instructions for the euro-pro shark mechanical machine

You can view the manual online at the euro pro web site. Although, I have the manual and I am having the same problem. It was working fine and now for some God only knows reason, I can't seem to thread it right again. This is extremely frustrating for me. The manual doesn't give written instructions there are just picture for you to use as a guide. Here is a link to the manual, I hope you have better luck than me.
