Jumps around My old 110 92291800 top load washer jumps around during the spin cycle, you can rearrange the cloths inside but it still continues. I've checked below, and the major springs are connected, there are 3 pins under the tub, should there be springs in these locations

If your washing machine jumps around, it's 2 things. The load is heavy on one side and the snubber is drying out. Redistribute the load and it should spin out. The snummer is a suction cup looking thing that is spring loaded and presses on the top of the outer tub. When it dries out, it becomes slightly slippery. Less than $10.00 for a new one. To rebalance a washer, tilt it toward you about 3-4 inches and just let it fall into place. The rear feet are self leveling and theu non't always work easily as a machine ages. My washing machine is now 34 years old and I've replaced the belt once and the snubber once The machine runs 4-6 loads every week.

Maybe the spin bearing on the bottom of the transmission is bad. Take the from off the washer and in the spin cycle see if the transmission is moving around above the brake assembly.

Mine did this, it never got fixed, repairman told me to replace it. I suggest you do the same. He told me the springs and bumpers had just worn out, and from the looks of my old washer, he was right lol

Drum knock when spin cycle

Hello.
Noises are common when using a two-in-one washer and dryer, as clicking or whirring is part of the cleaning process during the transition to the next cleaning process. The GE Spacesaver washer and dryer combo uses a top-loading washer stacked beneath the front-loading dryer, and uses an agitator that makes noises throughout the spin cycle. Although whirring or clicking is normal, other noises or malfunction indicates a problem with the washer that requires minor troubleshooting. Professional repair is necessary if the washer continues to experience problems during the spin cycle, as there may be a problem with the washer's agitator.
1 Open the washer's door and check the balance of the load's clothes. Clothes that are unevenly distributed around the agitator cause excessive shaking and result in an imbalance during the spin cycle. Reduce the load's size by removing clothing if the washer's drum is overloaded.
2 Push "Start/Pause" to pause the spin cycle and turn the washer's cycle knob to the "Off" position. Turn the knob to "Spin Only" and press "Start/Pause" to reset the cycle.
3 Turn the wrench counterclockwise or clockwise around the unit's legs to adjust the appliance's balance. The legs are adjustable with the help of a wrench to ensure the unit does not shake while in use. An unleveled unit shakes as it spins, and causes excessive squealing or rattling as it attempts to dry the clothes.
4 Touch "Start/Pause" on the front of the washer's control panel and unplug the washer/dryer unit's power cord from the electric oultlet. Wait two minutes and plug the power cord back into the electric outlet. Push "Start/Pause" to resume the spin cycle.
Thanks.

If your machine model is an FAV6800A or FAV9800A the issue could be a Clutch malfunction.
Does the Spin cycle error out with unbalance errors such as dC or uC if your machine is one of the above machine models?
If so see this post Clutch Fix for a step by step to Clutch maintenance or replacement if necessary.
Post back if you have additional concerns with your FAV6800A or FAV9800A.

Drum off balance

It's either a bad suspension spring or you have a crack in the tub support.

Kenmore washer shakes violently during spin cycle

syrny,

Not sure what you did, exactly. First, does the machine shake when spun empty...and then with water only? If so, you have probably failed to tighten something or misaligned something. Go over your work.

No shakes? Rearrange your load. You may have a pair of heavy wet jeans which is throwing the whole thing out of kilter. It only takes about a half pound of sodden clothing to do this.

Lopsided during spin

This can be caused by a brake that has failed.  Try to spin inner tub with washer off.  It should NOT turn.  If it turns the brake is bad and is allowing the tub to spin when agitating.  This causes clthes to bunch up.

My old Hoover top loader Washer is noisy & doesn't spin out properly - how can I fix it?

Sounds like the switch which cuts the machine off when the load is unbalanced. My guess is that: This switch is being triggered too easily The springs holding the bowl up are either stretched or one is broken; The machine may not be level.
