A bookmark marks a point within a track, so you can return to it at a later time.

For example, if you are listening to your recording of an interview, insert a bookmark if you need to stop halfway through. When you want to continue listening from where you left off, go to this bookmark.

You can use up to 10 bookmarks at any one time.
To insert a bookmark
  1. Play the track that you want to bookmark.
  2. In the Now Playing view, while the track is playing, press options.jpg and select Set Bookmark.
  3. Select a bookmark number.
If all 10 bookmark numbers have been assigned, clear an existing bookmark. In the main menu, select Music > Bookmarks. Press options.jpg and select Clear Bookmark.
To go to a bookmark
  1. On the main menu, select Music > Bookmarks.
  2. Select the bookmark that you want.

Creative Zen V Plus Bookmarks

A little known feature on this player is the ability to use bookmarks, up to 10 of them. Many of you listen to podcasts or audio books which may be fairly lengthy and if you have to stop in the middle of what ever you're listening to, normally when you go back to your player you would have to start all over again.<br /><br />A note about <span style="font-style: italic;">"resuming playback":</span> If you shutdown during playback of a podcast or audio book (not pausing or stopping playback first) your Zen will automatically resume playback when you start it back up.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Zen V Plus Bookmarking</span><br /><br />You can insert bookmarks during playback. Instruction for zen mosaic by creative

I think alot of people are having the same problem I was. We got home, opened the box, plugged it in the computer, and nothing useful happened so then we installed the mini-cd. Well the thing is windows stops looking for a driver once it searches and finds nothing, and unfortunately those of us using XP do not automatically have the drivers. So...

SOLUTION
------------------
-If you have not already installed the mini-cd, do so, or download from Creative's site in the support section(if you do you might want to grab the latest firmware update)
-Once pack has been installed the drivers have been as well, BUT as I mentioned we now have to tell windows to look for them again.
-Reconnect your Mosaic
-Right click "My Computer"
-Chose "Properties"
-Click the "Hardware" tab
-Click "Device Manager"
-A window will pop up and you will see a long list with (hopefully only) one thing under the "Other Devices" sublist. It should be something along the lines of "Creative Zen Mosaic". Right click it
-Chose "Update Drivers"
-Follow prompts agreeing to search and auto install
-Once install is done, in a moment the screen on your Mosaic will say "Docked"
-Congratulations!
If you have downloaded the updated firmware this is the time to install:
-Ensure your Mosaic is in "Docked" mode
-Execute the firmware update
-Click "Upgrade"
-Wait (it takes a moment or two)
-Updater will say it is complete
-Mosaic will reboot
-Click "Close"
-Congratulations!

Hope that helps.

Accessing bookmarks from Creative Zen

To access a bookmark or have the player jump to the bookmark you must...

1. - Setup your shortcut button to jump to bookmarks
1.1 - From the top level menu, go to "System", then "Player Settings", then "My Shortcut Button".
1.2 - Set the shorcut button to "Jump To"
1.3 - In the "jump to" menu select "Bookmarks"

Ok so now you can easily access your bookmarks... and also the jump feature will now work :)

2. - Simply select your bookmark and then press with the PLAY or center button to access your bookmark.

There may be other ways, but that's the way I did it

Hope it helps.
