I don't have access to my CS2 files after deleting CS1 prog

If you are using a Mac, select a CS1 INDD file and then do a "Get Info" on it (Apple + I). Choose "open with" and then select CS2, and then make sure to click the "Change All" button.
If you are using a PC, select a CS1 INDD file and then right-click on it and then select "Properties". Then choose "Open With" and select CS2, and then make sure to check the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" box.
