I will need a little more information to help you solve this problem.
Look at following areas for the model number

  • Beneath Or Inside Food Compartment On Cabinet Frame
  • On Plate Lower Front Or Rear Of Cabinet
  • Beside Compressor Door On Right End
  • Near Rear Of Cabinet
  • Inside Liner At Top
Make sure that I can get the exact numbers so I can see if your refrigerator has other features like defrost timer, circuit boards, ETC. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Have replaced the main control board, and all the control panel lights now work, compressor comes on, fan inside comes on, but fan at bottom of refrig does not. Checked all connections and all is good....

Set you refrigerator controls at their middle settings. Put a thermometer in both sections. Check after several hrs. Freezer temp should read near 0 and fresh food temp between 38 and 42 degrees. Those are normal operating temps on most refrigerators.

My frost free fridge freezer comes on for five minutes every half hour and is not cooling very well, what's the reason for this?

1 Check the thermostat settings i.e. temperature control. Hope it is not on the lower number. 2 If the thermostat setting is OK then there is every possibility that the cooling gas has leaked out. Call the technician and get it recharged. 3 Also check the compressor that it is working properly.

My refrigerator don't start. i check for juice and there is juice in the plug what it can be the problem. thank you

Hello there
First, check to see if the light comes on or if there is any fan, motor, or other sound coming from the appliance? If so, the refrigerator isn't really completely stopped--go to the specific problem you are having. If not, try adjusting the thermostat to a colder setting. If that doesn't work, read on. Second, . If there is power to the appliance but it still seems to be stopped, there may be a problem in one or more of these: Wiring Thermostat Defrost timer Compressor Overload and/or relay
so if you can get each one of these checked out

Fan cycling low and high

The freezer fan slows down due to the refrigerator section being at the desired setting but the freezer section still needing coolant . If the refrig section needed more coolant , the fan would speed up , forcing more air into the refrig section .
After replacing the heater , it could be in the defrost cycle . The thermistors tell the main control board , " hey , we're freezing , turn on some heat " , in which the heater comes on and defrosts the coils , until behind the rear freezer panel , can get up to 140 degrees . As it gets this hot , the frozen food in the freezer , is what keeps the freezer cold . After defrost , the fan comes on and blows the residual heat into the refrig sectio , until the coils get cold again . So , if the refrig section warms up temporarily , it's normal .

Either a bad condensor fan motor ( fan which cools the compressor ) OR dirty coils . Remove the kickplate and vacuum .

Kenmore top freezer, Refrierator shuts off with loud clunk.

It sounds like you may have a compressor that is working hard against high pressure due to a dirty condenser or a condenser fan not running or blocked. If all is well otherwise, the mounting springs inside the compressor may have broken or are weak. The only fix then is a new compressor.

Sounds like the condesor coil fan motor went bad and shorted in the windings or stator. It can be replaced fairly easily. You can get the mtor from one of the online part stores and install through the base of the unit next to the compressor. you should clean the area of lint while your down there, it helps keep it operating more efficiently.

Moved refrig. and compressor will not kick in

The unit may have gone into the defrost cycle. The fans and compressor will be off during the defrost cycle. Has the unit been plugged in for more than 30 minutes since you noticed it stopped? If so, you will see a round plastic knob recessed about 8" back in the console on the fresh food ceiling. Rotate this knob clockwise with a flat blade screw driver until a distintive click, louder than the tiny clicks made while rotating the knob. If the fans and compressor come on, replace the timer (68233-3).
If the fans and compressor do not come on after rotating the timer, you may have a bad cold control of loose wire in one of the molex connectors from the move.

18 cubic foot roper is clicking, but not freezing.

yes the "relay" on your unit has burnt out. if you shake it and pepper looking pieces come out of it that will verify that you need to replace the relay.
nice work finding the exact problem by yourself and now all you have to do is buy a relay and plug it in to get things back to normal.
also be sure to clean the coils under the unit as when the compressor gets too hot it will cause the relay to fail. it is very common and you can fix this yourself.
