Question about Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 for PC

Where do I go to get a operating manuel for my Gateway XP 2005 Personal Computer? I cannot figure out how to save e-mail pictures to a DVD. If I can paly a DVD and listen to a CD, why can I not save to pictures to a DVD. I need to clear up my e-mail box. However, I cannot print all the beautiful pictures I have. This is why I need an operating manuel. I cannot figure out how to use the burning system. I cannot find the instruction to do that nor anything else my computer is capable of performing. Please help.

Windows native CD-burning program for data CD's will not allow creation of a data DVD. If you purchased blank CD's, however, you could burn the files to a CD. If you want to burn them to an actual DVD: I know that everyone wants to get everything for free, but there are no free data-DVD burning programs, that I know of, that are trustworthy. It is well worth it, in my opinion, to purchase Nero, Easy DVD Creator, or Roxio outright to do the job.

As far as getting the manual for your Gateway, look on the PC (often there is a sticker on the side of the tower) and find your exact model #. Once you have that exact model #, go to Gateway's website (link below), and enter your model # to get the user manual. Unless your particular Gateway already came with DVD burning software, the computer's manual may or may not be helpful:

Where are my email messages that I had saved on Windows 7?

They are no longer saved on the computer, they are saved on the web interface server. You have to be online and have Windows Live Mail open.

Any archived mail is listed towards the bottom left hand side.

I went from XP to windows 7 64 bit and now my cyber-shot camera is not recognized when I try to download pictures. Sony couldn't figure it out.

If you connect CyberShot Camera from a USB Cable, check the cable once. If that doesn't solve the problem, Choose Mass storage option from the Camera Menu when prompted. I think it should work.

I need to get pictures sent to my email transferred to my desk top so i can access them individually on desk top i have windows xp program I need to do this so I can put pictures on craigslist thanks.

When you open your e-mail, the pictures are either embeded in the body of the e-mail or as an attachment. Either way, you should be able to right click the picture or the attachment and select save as. Then navigate to your desktop and click save. You can also open the attachment and save the file from within the program that it opens in.

Have problem with windows Xp pro.

You can get the correct drivers from the Gateway website. Use another computer and download all the Windows XP files for that model number from the website. You need your model number of your pc. Get the files for your motherboard, video, sound card, network card, etc. save them to a usb key or a burn them to a cd. Take the usb key/cd to the other system and load the drivers.

This will get your system back up and running in now time.

I hope this helps you.

Cannot send email messages

Contact your internet provider, or check your internet providers homepage.

What you should ask/look for is their SMPT server for outgoing mail. You have to use that SMPT server in your mailprogram for your mails to pass through.

This is a restriction most ISPs have to stop members from sending spam.
