Sounds like the rubber seals are going bad, does it recomend to run cascade thru the jets? this might be harmful to the gaskets and the pump, you maight want to disconnect the hose and flush out the tubes going around the tub, but I would call jacuzzi and ask them if this is good to run thru there, thye might be able to help you with the gaskets, questions over the phone do not cost you, call them, ask for repairs section good luck

Why does my pilot light keep going out when heating is on ?

Water heater and house heater are sharing the same vent?
Then vent is bad, and heater is pushing combustion by-product down into the water heater and blowing out pilot.
Call technician immediately to avoid CO poisoning.
Look for black soot on top of water heater... test the vent:

Whirlpool/Honeywell hot water heater light flashes 5 then 7 times and won't light. Burner is clean and all contacts are good. Out of warranted.

7 flashes: Gas control valve might be bad.
4 flashes: FV overheat, clean air intake.
Soot indicates clogged air intake slowed combustion venting possibly causing overheating and lockout. Clean air intake screen located on bottom of unit.

Why is gas boiler burning black sut

This is dangerous condition. Call service technician immediately, and they might put the unit out of commission until repairs are made.

Locate manufacturer's website, and call manufacturer to get name of local technician qualified to work on unit, and this will get the unit back into working service quicker.

Soot means burner is not burning all the fuel, and venting is slowed.
Possibility unburned gas is entering flueway, and could cause explosion.
Clean burner parts, check vent draft, check gas pressure.
Catch unit up on required yearly maintenance.

The pilot light goes out. When I go to re-light the pilot and turn the temp for vacation to medium the flame goes out again.

The pilot light jet may have got a little bit of dirt or grit in it which is preventing it from keeping alight. Try probing the jet with a fine piece of wire to see it the blockage can be dislodged. You may have to unscrew the jet to clear it by blowing air through it. Make sure gas is turned off first before removing any parts.

The pilot light also has a thermocouple that allows gas to the pilot light while the flame is burning. If flame goes out it shuts gas off to the pilot jet. The thermocouple is bypassed by a switch during the initial ignition and once the thermocouple warms up after a minute or two of holding in the bypass switch, it should maintain the pilot. If, after cleaning, the pilot light keeps going out, it would seem that your thermocouple is faulty and needs to be replaced

I purchased a new water tank for my camper and need to know how to put on the metal retainer rings to hold the

Yup, they can be fun to try and install, to say the least. Best thing I've found so far is to use a 3" ABS (black ) sewer hose adapter with short straight piece, to get it on easy. If not mistaken, a 3" ABS piece of pipe will work well too, then tap it on straight. If those aren't available, put one edge down over lip slightly, and have someone hold it there with a screwdriver or similar tool, while you use a small block of wood or dowel, and start tapping it down a little all around gradually, until your back to where helper is holding it. Then once it's started, go side to side, then top to bottom a little at a time, you'll get there.
