My tablet will not power up. I have charged it over night and still nothing. I tried different chargers and still nothing. Help!!

Hi,
It could be that you have damaged the on/off button.
It could be that you have damaged the USB charging port.
OR
Lithium ION batteries are usually rechargeable. The use mode for these batteries is that there are a set number of recharges that equate to the life of the battery. Usually that life is approximately 1,000 charges.
If you use your battery to 50% then recharge, you can do this ~2,000 times. As the life of the battery is used up, the maximum charge lessens which means where you may have had 8 hours of play time when the battery was new, you will only have 6 hours as the battery life is used up.
In order for a Lithium ION battery to recharge there must be at least a small amount of charge left as a "seed" for that recharge. If you drain a L-ION battery down to zero, it may never recharge again or the max charge will be reduced to an insignificant amount of the original full charge. eg instead of 8 hours you may only get 15 minutes, or 5 minutes, or no minutes.
You are much better off recharging when 50% depleted than using it up til your product stops.
L-ION batteries cannot be repaired only replaced. Most cheap products using L-ION batteries cannot have their batteries replaced.

Charged but won't run

I had the same problem earlier today. By chance I plugged it in again to the recharger, but this time, just the battery, and it started recharging again! It did a full recharge, and what do you know, the vacuum works again!
I had left it in the recharger all night originally and it didn't like that it seems. So recharging it again, just was the battery and when it had finished recharging, attached it to the motor part and it worked perfectly.
Hope this helps someone else.

Coleman rechargable lantern Model 5327A750. Have not used it in a while have left it on charge for over 24 hours. the night light works but the main light does not go on. Replaced the bulb and still...

just read the charging instructions. Charge for 16-18 hours. If stored for more than 6 months recharge for the full 16 hours. Do not leave the lantern on after the battery has stopped, has overdischarging the battery can cause problems in recharging to a full charge. If this does happen, switch lantern to off and recharge for 40 hours.YES 40 hours. Only the LED is the only light to be used while charging. If you hane the other light on hi or low the battery does not charge.

Hope this helps

Flip video won't charge

If you look on the bottom of the camera there is a button that slides from a locked to an unlocked position. Slide it to unlocked and then slide down the back of the camera (the side with the lens) there is a removeable rechargeable battery pack. Remove it for a moment and then put it back in. Try plugging back into the USB port. This should work.

I have a samsung digimax 201

Digital cameras in general use massive amounts of power to supply their internal electronics and that big, beautiful, bright LCD view screen.

We switched to 2500ma NiMH rechargeable batteries. At first they would barely work, about 25 shots and they would die, after 5 to 10 discharge/ recharge cycles though, they now work great. I recharge them every night and like to leave at least one set on the charger all the time to keep it 'topped up'. Most chargers have this feature, ours even has a built in fan for when the batteries get hot (they do on fast-charge mode).

Now the rechargeables work great, we recently went to a race for my daughter and took 1.5 gigs of photos and movies on one set of batteries! Amazing, considering with standard AAs, we would get about 6-10 minutes of 640x480 movies on a set of batteries.

Our rechargeable set is a cheapo Walmart close out (got it for $15- four batteries and charger!) by Digital Concepts.

Hope this helps,

alkaline batteries?
please try lithium crv3 or lithium aa's, it may really do that even with a new set of alkaline aa's
if you're using ni-mh, make sure it's recharged and if it is, and it's still doing the same thing.. note that most ni-mh's life span is 300 charging cycles. if you barely use the rechargeable batteries, they can still deteriorate through time. if the rechargeable batteries are new, or say 6 month's old - that means the cam actually needs a repair

Battery life cut down to 7 hours

The thing is, you recharge it too much. Because when you recharge it even though it still has battery power left, it tries to recharge it as much as if the battery was depleted. So, your battery overheats, therefore allowing you 7 hours instead of 20. And yes, it is possible to switch the battery.
