SOURCE: Delonghi coffee machine making an aweful noise,

Hi. Husband asks: When you first turn the machine on at the power point, does it make a motor sound and then stop, or is the awful noise apparent at that time.

If the awful noise starts as soon as you turn it on, then most likely there is a motor problem which will need to be seen by a Service Center.

SOURCE: hello i have an Delonghi esam

I had this problem until I realised that you need to switch the machine off by pressing the on/off button on the front of the machine first *before* switching it off at the back and unplugging it. This moves the infuser unit further to the bottom and then allows you to take it out.

SOURCE: how to replace Delonghi magnifica

ha this is the same problem i had just last week at a customers house with the same machine , the knob does pull off but it is hellish tight and you feel like the valve is about to burst through the front of the machine but it does pull off, when fitting the new knob it is a good idea to put some grease over the shaft before pushing the new knob on as it's nearly as hard pushing the new one back on as taking the old one off.

Ian

Delonghi dynamica infuser stuck

If the infuser on your DeLonghi Dynamica espresso machine is stuck, there are a few things you can try to release it:
  1. Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait a few minutes to allow the machine to cool down.
  3. Press the infuser release button while gently pulling on the infuser.
  4. If that doesn't work, try gently pushing the infuser up and down while pressing the release button.
  5. If the infuser still won't budge, try applying some food-grade lubricant to the infuser and/or the infuser chamber.
  6. If none of these steps work, it's best to contact DeLonghi customer support or take the machine to a professional repair shop.

I removed the infused and cleaned then returned it but the red light is still on in the red triangle and green cup lights still flashing

Hello Karen,
I am not a service professional; however, I have owned 2 Delonghi espresso machines for 15 years now and done several service repairs on my machines and they are still running great! Was the machine running ok before removing the infuser?? Please be sure to read section 10.2 of your service manual. If not available, you can visit here to view manual https://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/assets/user-manuals/delonghi/delonghi-esam-3300-user-manual.pdf

Additionally, make sure you have inserted the infuser back onto the machine correctly. Review towards the end of section 10.2 where you must make sure the infuser is compressed back closed and upon inserting it onto the machine the red buttons must click that the infuser is installed correctly? Please see troubleshoot picture attached. Also be sure to clean your machine inside underneath the infuser as many coffee grounds are collected there after a period of time. I don't know how old you machine is, but replacing the o-rings on the infuser and greasing the moving parts (o-rings) is recommended. Be sure to use lubricant recommended for food contact. I hope this helps you get your machine back on track? If not, please upload a video to better help you. Good luck, Enrique

Delonghi Magnifica 3300 doesn't make coffee, only wet grounds and water in the grounds container, everything else seems normal

Hi JB, not sure if you've junked your 3300 machine by now or had the problem fixed already. Nevertheless, allow me to share with owners of DeLonghi Magnifica Espresso machines who encounter similar problem to yours. Incidentally, mine is a Delonghi Magnifica 3200 which is very much the same as the 3300. Firstly, try to ascertain if the pump is working normally. When the machine is ready to brew coffee, turn ON the steam/hot water knob and see if it pumps normally and for more than 30secs at least. My machine could pump for short durations between 5secs to 20secs max before the water light came on. I checked the flow meter connection but is all seemed well. I noticed signs of water leak (dried up chalky water stains) where the steam wand exits the control panel. Upon opening up the control panel, I noticed a larger patch of dried up water stains on the wand valve assembly. Bought a set of steam wand assembly replacement and to replace the leaking one. It's been some six month now and I'm enjoying my daily cuppa again. Btw, my Delonghi Magnifica 3200 has been serving me well for 10 years! Apart from the steam wand replacement and a faulty micro-switch, I only had to carry out the usual descaling and replacing worn out O-rings.

The machinge keeps asking to insert brewing unit but it seems to

The infuser does go in at a slight angle "11:45" ish. Be sure the tabs on the sides of the infuser "pop" back out when it's in place. Try unplugging the machine if all else fails and it will do a self diagnostic. You could also call Delonghi tech support.
