Computer won't print because of paper jam which we cannot find

My Canon Pixma MP 150 will not print anything because it is telling me I have a paper jam which we cannot find. We have looked inside with a flashlight and cannot see anything.

When we print, the Alarm button lights up and then on the computer monitor it says we have a paper jam. Hope you can help me.printer states Load paper. once i load paper and ready to print , it won't feed it through it. therefore, i am on a constant load paper mode without feeding paper through the printer causing the printer to never print

There is a sensor flag that is causing it to throw out a false jam. It is a black plastic peice that is one where the paper feeds through that tells the printer that the paper has reached its destination.

I have a Canon Pixma MP 240 printer. It's been out of black ink. I installed a new ink cartridge. Now, there's an "E3" flashing on the screen. And it won't print anything.

Error E3 indicates that there is a paper jam.

Firstly remove the ink cartridge you have just installed and check to see if there are any bits of paper underneath that.

Secondly check the rest of the printer for any jams paying careful attention to any rollers as small bits of paper can get stuck to them.

I Have a problem with my canon MP 150 Printer

From Canon Support: "Please be advised that if the MP 150 is displaying the letter E followed by number 3, this would indicate a paper jam. "

I have canon PIXMA MP

E3 error on the MP150 is a paper jam error. Make sure that there is nothing obstructing the paper going into the printer and that the feed mechanism doesn't have anyhting in it. Also run a roller cleaning from the printer software.

Canon pIXMA mp 150

This is definitely a mechanical problem. You might want to at least partially take the printer appart and inspect it very thoroughly if you haven't done so yet. Did you have any paper jams before? Sometimes when you remove a paper jam the sheet rips and you end up with some shreds of paper lodged in the printer mechanism causing more jams. Another possibility might be cracked or bent paper guides, or simply dirty rollers (these you can clean with alcohol).
