I met the same trouble, i just reset acer password by the following steps, Step1.Download Smartkey Windows Password Recoveryfrom recoverlostpassword.com anddecompress it on that PC. There is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to CD or USBFlash Driver.Step2.Get out the newly created CDor USB Flash Driver and insert it to the locked computer.Step3. Re-boot the locked computerand then follow the process of instructions. Just after a few steps, the oldpassword will be removed.It can recover all Windows version.
Which password? Are you trying to connect to the wireless network. Make sure that you have the correct network password. Open the setup page of the wireless router and check the wireless network key WEP WPA. If you are trying to open the setup page of the router then try default password admin.
Are you just trying to register a paypal account? You should think of a more secured password or else paypal won't accept it. Add numbers to your password and don't use your name as a password. It is for your own security too.
These days the strength of a password is important. At times the same username and password is not accepted. Likewise, certain keys (characters) in the keyboard is not accepted. This could be the problem in your case. Try a combination lowercase, uppercase and numbers. Also note that these days it is important to have a minimum number or characters (say 6 or 8) is mandatory. So if you are trying with 4 or 5 characters, that password will not be accepted. Please note that passwords are case sensitive, and write down the password immediately in the exact order you typed it in.
