Hi, please go in bios check the drive is shown there. if shown and not showing in my computer then might be the os issue. Go to the device manager and check any yellow question mark on the dvd/cd rom drive and if not then try following Right click and uninstall the drive. Go to IDE ATAPI controllers in device manager and uninstall secondary controllers or ata channel 1 from there. Go to run option>type regedit and enter then>H_KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>CURRENT CONTROL SET>CONTROL>CLASS>first entry starting with the 4D36 and single click on entry>on the right hand pane check for any lower or upper filter and if there delete both.
Restart the system twice then check if then also not working might be OS or drive faulty
