It's possible that a faulty ERC (Electronic Range Control) could damage a new keypad, but it's not very common. The F7 D6 error code indicates a problem with the communication between the keypad and the ERC. Here are a few other things you could try:
Check the ribbon cable connection between the keypad and the ERC. Make sure it is securely connected and not damaged in any way.
Try resetting the oven by turning off the power to it for a few minutes, then turning it back on. This may help clear any temporary glitches that are causing the error.
If the above steps don't work, it's possible that there is a wiring problem or a faulty component in the oven that is causing the error. In this case, it may be best to call a professional appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.
The code is because of bad keypad/the control panel.Have it changed. It probably non-functional and constant beeping sound is followed as you mentioned.Theres a link to explain more about this for reference. The only solution is to replace the control panel.
f-7 mean stuck button on key pad or stuck relay on oven control. if the problem started while oven was in use replace oven control. if problem started while oven was not in use replace key pad
