Problem for GE DBLR333EE Electric Dryer

GE gas dryer gets hot but doesn't dry clothes like it used to

Dryer is 6 years old, gas dryer, GE model number DBL 333GB2WW, Seial number TD712947W. Venting is clear to the outside, inside of dryer is free of debris, lint trap is clean, and I can see the glow of the burn.

- Thnaks, however we never keep anything on top of it. What's rule number 2?

rule number one take everything off of it and never store clothes or anything that can insulate the top it overheats them. It kind of fools all your sensors when you store stuff on top

- try this site www.appliancepartspros.com/repairtips/repairtips_dryer.aspx when you get there click "Gas Dryers" then "It takes to long to dry" That's the best I can give you. FYI many people pile clothes on their dryers and wonder why they quit. Good Luck
