Wont **** properly. is just moving dirt around. i have a G6 i unclogged it changed the bag. dont know what else to do.

With a Kirby that's around 10 years old, there's a good possibilty the fan is worn or broken. You can purchase one online (http://www.elikirbyclub.com/category_93/Kirby-GSix-Fan.htm for $17.55 plus shipping and handling) or at a Kirby store.
Instructions for replacing the impeller can be found at the following site.

My Sentria always runs in the drive mode and it is so fast it seems out of control. If I push the neutral pedal it stays in drive. I can push it the regular way when it is turned off, whether the pedal is...

I sold vacuums for almost 20 yrs and the Kirby gets lots of complaints. The transmission that it has in it breaks as your has and they are costly. The best thing to do would be to take the maching to the local vacuum store(eg. sewing and vacuum are often in the same store).Bring it to a used vac store and they all repair kirby and thay can give you the best advice. I dont recommend going to kirby as thay will spend four hours at your house trying to sell you a newer model and they have not changed enough to get another one in hopes it will be betrter. Good luck

My kirby is making a very loud noise and somehow the white fan inside has broken. I have the pieces. What do I need to do? I can't find a vacuum repair place near my location. Can I fix this myself?

What you need to do is a long process of taking apart the vacuum apart. Your fan broke so you are going to need a new one. So go to Kirbys website and look up a nearby vacuum store. Or More recommended a Kirby. It is a long process of taking the vacuum apart,

My button for the neutral and drive won't work. a metal piece broke off and no i can't switch the transmission

Find an authorized Kirby Dealer in your area and have the part professionally installed. Very complex. Many parts and screws. If no Kirby store, find a Vac store you trust. Or go here http://reviews.ebay.com/REPLACING-OR-REPAIRING-KIRBY-VACUUM-NEUTRAL-DRIVE-PEDAL_W0QQugidZ10000000011180003

Do you know how to change a emptor assembly

http://geeksquad.fixya.com/ThreadView.aspx?prdid=0&thid=725050 Generic problem for all Vacuums… Do you know how to change an emptor assembly? Posted by smcgee on June 30, 2008 I've got a Kirby G4 and I need to replace the emptor assembly. Do you know how to change it?
Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The Kirby mini emptor assm can be replaced by going inside of the cloth bag and looking for the ty tie that is hold it onto the clothe outer bag and cut the ty tie to release the mini emptor on the Kirby. The bag @ the bottom has elastic around the bottom and should come right off; it will be tight but should come off. The front of the mini emptor has a gasket so make sure the new one has the same small gasket also, and that will just turn and unhook. You need to find a new ty tie just as long as the one you are removing; either from a local vacuum cleaner store, the Kirby Factory Cust serv (Parts) or try the Home Depot or Menards or a box store similar to those. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

I don't know where near you, but most local repair shops should have the belts for kirby.

Re: find a repair for vacuum

Don't know in Australia, but there must be a local repair shop that will repair Kirby's. Sometimes a Sewing and Vacuum store will also offer repair and parts for various vacuums.
