Hi Karla! What kind of cellphone do you have? It's most likely asking for your phone's security code and not your microSD. If it's a Nokia phone, 12345 should work. You could also try 00000 or 0000. If that doesn't work, just post the make and model and we'll figure it out.
look at page "3/9" of this document
"http://www.pqi.com.tw/upload/download/SD%20%284%29.pdf" and it will
show on the lower right hand side of the picture a slot that says "write
protect", move that tab to unlock the card.
BTW this is a good technical document for SD cards in general if you are interested in how they function.
Make sure the music isn't going to the device the card is in. The cell phone pocket pc, laptop, netbook or wherever. You probaby don't see anything in the sd file because the music is another file using up the maximum available storage space. By using the mobile center you can drag and drop music files directly to the sd card file.
Well first its easiet if you put the card in phone first. itll crate files. then take it back out put it in your laptop, or sdcard reader, and add files. if you want to ad ring tones, you have to put in ringtone folder, not music, even if you want the same song. has to go in music, and in ringtone folder.
you need to install memory card in phone then attach a data cable specfically for your phone (available at cell phone dealer) into phone and the other end to the usb of the pc if our phone came with software load it on pc then use the software to transfer the music files from your pc to your phone.
