A Blue Screen of Death, or BSOD, is Windows way of letting you know it has a problem. They will appear after new hardware is installed or some times after Windows installs an update. There will be a STOP CODE and an associated file list about 3/4 down the screen. Write that information down. Shut the computer off and let it set for a minute or so. Start it and see if it will come up normally. If it want to run check disk because it shutdown improperly last time, let it run. The computer should start in a few minutes. If there are no other errors, do a web search for the filename you wrote down. The results of the search will help you identify which device is causing the problem. Once you know that, download the latest drivers and patches for the device and then uninstall the software and shutdown the PC and remove the device. Restart the PC briefly and then shut it down again. Install the device and start the PC again. Install the new software for the device, including patches, if any, and restart the PC.
Good luck and please let k=me know how it works out for you.
