Question about Canon PIXMA iP3500 Printer

Canon Pixma IP3500 prints B&W with white streaks

I just refilled all 4 cartridges and reinstalled. The 3 colours print perfectly, but the black prints with horizontal white streaks. I've done maintenance - cleaned, deep cleaned, nozzle checked, roller and plate cleaned, several times. I've swabbed the contacts on cartridge and print head with alcohol to clean. I put an old cartridge back in and the problem persisted, so I don't think it's the cartridge, but I may have damaged something when installing the newly filled cartridge. Any ideas? Help would be appreciated!

Printing on high quality is much better, but still streaks a little bit. Any idea how to unclog the internal head? Still lots of ink in cartridge.

As i can suggest you that it can be the problem of head clogged internally where you insert your black cartridge .and the other main cause is while you give a head cleaning command to get the cartridge cleaned it sucks or pulls  the ink from the cartridge in such a huge quantity that 3-4 cleanings make the cartridge totally empty .due to this the ink gets very low and the printouts come with streaks.many a times setting the print mode in best makes the copy perfect.but the printing gets too slow in that best mode.

My canon iP3500: Black print comes out patchily, despite many attempts at deep cleaning, Each time I deep clean, a couple of pages come out with the black print OK, then it goes patchy again.

It sounds to me like your cartridge nozzles are clogged. That's more common with recycled or refilled cartridges, but it can also happen with new cartridges if they are older. If you just purchased the cartridge you could try to return it. Otherwise, I would try to continue deep cleaning and nozzle checks until it starts to print. It takes a lot of ink, but sometimes that's the only way to get it to print. Usually it will work eventually. Do a nozzle check in between each cleaning and deep cleaning.

When printing, print is has irregular & has white streaks through letters. Have tried "Print Head Cleaning" & "Print Head Deep Cleaning" several times and now printer won't...

you can flush the printhead on running water.

and have a mixture of ammonia and water solution. Soak the printhead and leave it overnight. This will unclogged residue in the printhead.

it will work again as good as new.

Canon ip3500 does not print black but colour ok ... whats up ... how to fix

1. this could be a clogged print head at the black cartridge. the head needs cleaning or the jets have clogged ports and cannot pass ink due to hardened ink.
This may require a print head replacement.
2.If you have recently place a new cartridge in the print slot check to see if you didn't leave the protective tape on the cartridge.

No black ink printing

Try reinstalling the printer, as it sounds like a driver problem. This shouldn't happen, but occasionally the drivers get corrupted. And refilled cartridges certainly don't help, and may continue to give trouble even when replaced with OEM ones. Have you tried turning the printer completely off - disconnecting the power lead, for a few minutes? That sometimes clears things.

Use original cartridges. Generic or refilled cartridges tend to cause these problems.

Refilled ink cartridges problem colour

this is not a printer problem, you have a problem with colour cartridge! u can fix this in 2 diferent way: 1. replace the colour cartridge with new one, or gently clean the nozzle cartridge with a wet tissue until the cyan colour mark a line on the tissue just like the others colours: yellow and magenta. maybe must repeat this several times.
