Sounds like paper is jamming... clean the rollers that pull the paper into the machine with rubbing alcohol and see if that solves the issue... if something is blocking the paper... take out your tray... drum and developer and search for the obstruction...

Clean the paper feed roller with a damp cloth after removing the paper tray, otherwise call a technician since parts may need to be replaced, including the roller in case.

Kyocera FS 4000 DN printer stops printing for no reason.

Try the feed tires in the tray first. More than likely the paper is not being picked up and causing jam message. The separation roller also has a hub on it to prevent a second sheet from feeding. Sometimes these start to lock up ,a little oil on the hub sometimes relieves some of the tension.

How to clear paper jam at the back of Kyocera Mita FS 1000+. Paper stuck up in the middle, with dark shade on top of page. Is this printer capable of 2-sided printing?

if paper is stuck in the back... then you have to take the machine apart... its messy but its just how it is... as for two sided printing... I would call kyocera support... they could best advize you on that... and they are quite friendly...

The printer will not load the papers

Hi you may try:
1) paper input sensor dirty, clean paper input sensor usually near the tray input roler area there is a micro switch or a led light sensor with two wires.
2) paper input sensor fail or disconnect between sensor and socket on the board, you have to open the cover to check.

Huge Margin with Kyocera FS 1000+

If the FS-1000 prints too far down the page or leave too much top margin or leaves a gap at the top of the page etc (<- for google searches). This is a problem with the felt pads on the three solenoids/clutch electro magnets that are under the right panel (2 under the engine/button board, 1 under the inner plastic cover, sometimes 4 in total on other kyocera printers). They get compressed over time meaning the metal leavers come into contact with the solenoid meaning they are released too slowly. Simply replace the felt pads with .5mm cardboard or another non-sticky non-metallic material. Too thick and it prints too far up the page.
