Nintendo 64 memory problems

When I play Ocarina of Time, save, turn the system off, turn it back on, my file isn't there. All my other games save just fine, is there something wrong with the game pak?

That game is pretty popular, if you can, find another copy of the game and see if the problem persists.

That way we can determine where the problem lies.

Best of luck!

Recover deleted nintendo 64 files

well, when you erase a game file from an n64 cartridge, the file itself is not erased, all that happens is the game marks it as an empty file and available to use; but all the bits and content that make up your saved game file are still there. It may just be the system is having a hard time reading the data stored or is failing to recognize it.

Where can i find the eye of truth

To acquire the "Lens of Truth" you must return to the Temple of Time and replace the Master Sword, thus returning to Young Link. Then, travel to Kakariko Village and enter the Windmill in front of the well. Talk to Guru-Guru, the man furiously playing the spinning music box. If you don't know the song of storms he will teach it to you. Play the song of storms to make the windmill spin rapidly which drains the well. leave the windmill and enter the now unsealed well and you will arrive in a mini dungeon called the "bottom of the well". The Lens of Truth is inside this dungeon.

What is it about?

The N64 is the third home-console published by Nintendo and is the successor of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was competing with the Playstation 2 and the Dreamcast.
The name Nintendo 64 comes from the fact that it was one of the first 64-Bit consoles. The "64" can also be found in various game titles like "Super Mario 64" oder "Donkey Kong 64".
The console was released in 1996 and the last game was released in 2002.
Which made this console popular was mostly the nintendo only milestones. The Zelda game (Ocarina of time) is among fans, still the best Zelda game ever released. It was also the debut of the first 3D Mario and Donkey Kong games.

Why wont zelda ocarina of time save data?

Over time the cartridge acquire a lot of dust and are also dropped and damaged. Try blowing into the cartridge to clear out the dust and if that does not work there may be issues with the processor inside. If the game does not work at all try going to your local exchange store, you may be able to find the game for between 5 and 15 dollars

N64's Zelda, majoras mask problem

The Jumper pack is needed for Majora's mask, as the extra space is needed for the game to play the enhanced graphics. Ocarina of time was made before the jumper pak was introduced, so it does not need it.
As for installing it, get a jumper pak installer kit to remove the original memory pak, the insert the new one.
