Will a genie wireless keypad work a liftmater opener?

No. These components are not compatible between different manufacturers. You can get a universal keypad that will work with the liftmaster opener though.

Good Luck!

Genie model ACSD1G will not program to Linear door opener model # LD033.-- need help doing this.

Most of the time, keypads and remotes are not compatible with other manufacturers. You would be better off getting a universal keypad, which should work. Double check the older opener to make sure it is on the list of compatible devices.

Also, make sure you check the balance of your garage door periodically to make sure your springs are counter-balancing the garage door properly. If not, the lifespan of the garage door opener will be substantially shortened. Click here for a how-to video.

How to program a remote entry keypad. There is no

Sounds like you have a hardwired keypad. If so:

To program the keypad, first unplug the garage door opener from the electrical outlet. Next, remove the nameplate from the console that the keypad plugs into and locate the program/operate switch. Flip the switch to program. Next, enter your desired four-digit PIN number into the keypad. Slide the switch back to operate and plug the garage door opener back in. The keypad should be programmed.

Only Keyless entry or remotes can be programmed but not both

If you can program your remotes but when you program your keypad the remotes quit working and vice versa you have either the wrong keypad or it has reverted to an earlier technology. Make sure the keypad is for your specific model door opener.

Programming my keyless entry

Yes, you purchased the wrong wireless. You must get a Genie keyless and there are two types of Genie keyless (GWKP & GWK-BL) depending on which Genie operator you have. You might think about a wired keyless entry (Domino GD-1). Then if you change your operator you don't have to change your keyless.
