Question about NetGear : WG111 54 Mbps Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter, RETAIL (DSNGWG111)
I have used my card for 2 years and i am always able to get mutiple signals that I can connect through. Last night i was online for a while and shut down. Decided to go back online a few hours later and netgear cant find a non secure connection. The connections it finds ask for key codes. Are there default key codes? what should I do?
sadly to say but there are no default key codes, its usually setup by the person who has setup the wireless networks, people are becoming more and more aware of the consequences of unsecured networks so most of them are securing the wireless networks, you can try connecting your laptop wirelessly to hotspot areas like airport, cafe and other places..incase if you want wireless internet from home and if you have mobile connection from verizon or sprint then you can get in touch with them and get wireless mobile broadband which will be your own wireless network and you donot have to depend upon someone elses unsecured network and the advantage of this type of wireless card is you can use the internet outside the home as well as when you are travelling...
