NO THE PLUG IS NOT YELLOW. I PUT THE BLUE PLUG INTO THE MODEM AND IT DID NOT TURN ON. THERE IS A MALE PLUG THAT HANGS OUT OF THE BLUE PLUG. SO IF THAT DOES NOT GO TO ANYTHING THEN WHY WON'T IT TURN ON.

  • jjjp_143 Feb 26, 2009

THE PLUG IS A TAN COLOR JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE PLUG. I MEAN THE TOWER SORRY.

  • Anonymous Feb 26, 2009

IT ONLY HAS ONE PIN. YES IT LOOKS LIKE AN AC ADAPTER. EVEN WHEN I PLUGED IN THE BLUE PLUG IT STILL WOULD NOT TURN ON EVEN WITH OUT PLUGING IN THAT OTHER PLUG.

  • jjjp_143 Feb 26, 2009

I DONT THINK THAT IT IS FOR THE AUDIO. IT IS LIKE AN AC ADAPTOR PLUG. IT ONLY HAS ONE PIN. THE HOLE IS SILVER BUT THE OUTSIDE IS TAN LIKE THE REST OF THE CORD. I HAVE EVEN TRYED PLUGING IN THE BLUE PART WITHOUT PLUGING THAT OTHER PIECE AN IT STILL DONT TURN ON.

If it is a yellow plug it is for a built in microphone.

    is it a 3.5mm jack plug(audio)?
or like an ac adaptor plug? silver with a hole in it?
does it have pins? if so how many?

Trying to get hook up with AUVIO wireless headphones to SONY TV MODEL KDL-40W600B. If not AUVIO then my Beats pill. Goal to have TV sound in/on bed close to me. Beats pill Blootooth

Jean,
I take it the Auvio wireless headphone main base has both dual rca and optical in jacks? If so, what you need is a 3.5mm stereo male to 2 rca male cable. You will plug in the 3.5mm male plug into the green audio out/headphone jack port that should be on the back/left rear side of your TV. Then you will plug the dual rca plugs of the cable into the Auvio rca inputs. You can get the cables in various lengths so you can have the Auvio base in a good location. If you need a visual of the cable type: http://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021815&p_id=5598&seq=1&format=2
Hope this helps:)

I have Harley sportser 883 im not getting fire to the plugs

try checking the gang plug under the rear of the motor I have found a couple of times there seems to be a problem from the factory with this plug, the wires for the spark control do not mate very well and give a bad headache to those trying to find a solution. look at them real close usualy the male one will be smashed flat and not go into the female side.i havent had an issue since I found this problem and put on new male and female side pins and plugs.

Pluged in but no sound comes out whats up?

Could be that the male plug isn't connecting in its recepticle, or perhaps an internal wire or other connection is broken. If nervous about looking inside and perhaps resolving the problem, take the guitar to a qualified repair shop

Cable?

since the DGL20 uses a PAL connector, you will need an adapter plug from PAL male-to-RF male (75 Ohm) connector. You can also try a RCA male to RF male (75 Ohm)

When router is pluged in modem no internet.when modem is pluged into tower internet is on.

From what I understand, your router is not working, is it new or did you have it working before your difficulty?
If it is not new try this, plug you modem into you router and your router into your computer. Pull the power supply plug out of the modem for one minute and them plug it back in. When all of your lights are green and solid, reboot your computer. When it comes back up see if you can get on line. This has worked for me many times. Now if it doesn't help...call your ISP (Internet Service Provider) like comcast, verizon, whomever...and they can take over your machine and correct the setting in a matter of two minutes...You'll save a lot of headaches...And you are paying for the SERVICE, right !
Good luck, please leave rating, thank you kindly

Blue wire not fitting in modem

I assume that you are trying to plug the cat 5 cable into the pc and thats where you say its to big. The port your'e trying to plug it into is likely the modem but its not the modem that you want to connect it to. You want to plug it into the network jack on the pc. The modem connection is smaller than the network connection. Most newer pc's come with it already installed, but if you have an older pc that doesnt have a network card then you will need to add one. Take a good look and see if there is another jack that it will fit into.

That Male connector is a serial port not video, you need to get a video card and plug the monitor to this card.
