Question about Fuji FinePix Z10fd Digital Camera
The latch is required to hold the batteries firmly in place. Also, on the battery latch, you have a piece of metal which connects the positive side of one battery to the negative side of the other battery. So if you can place a piece of metal or use a wire to connect the two batteries, and then hold the batteries in place somehow, your camera will work.
