Question about Sceptre X9G-NagaIV 19" LCD Monitor

Monitor stays black until boot up to Desktop

Eversince I've had my Sceptre Naga 19" LCD monitor, it's always booted up with a black screen until it goes to Desktop and everything shows up fine. Does anyone else have this problem and/or know how to fix this so I can you view the Bios startup screen?

You use a graphics card as your main output?
and you have onboard graphics output too that you dont use?
if so then you will have to plug your monitor lead into the onboard output socket to see bios. i think you need to go into bios and change which device starts from boot.
it sounds like you have the onboard graphics as your boot device and windows using the graphics card.

try with restarting computer & press F8 at the same time. u will see a menu where choose "safe mode" & start the computer. in safe mode see the display properties, set the refresh rate & resolution according to monitors specifications, apply & restart again. if that does not work, replace the main board of lcd monitor.

This is normal. Your monitor has a VGA hook in for regular definition. What it is doing, the monitor always by default looks for the VGA hook first. On my desktop it does the same thing until it finds a signal on the DVI.
