My LG Viewty can't find my Jabra SP5050. I've followed the instructions but the phone keeps stating no devices found

In case of unsuccessful pairing, put the Jabra into pairing
mode manually. Make sure the headset is off. Press and hold the
on/off button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED has a
constant light.The LED will flash before the light is constant –
keep holding down the button until light is constant.
