Hi.
What MAC code did you use? Are you getting an error on the display? Please describe what you have done so far and I'll try to help.

Right. When you did a flag clear (receipt feed then subtotal),
did it print out a receipt? If so, what is the code next to 'INIT' on the receipt?

    Ok.
You will have to fully RAM clear it and start from scratch.

I need you to answer these questions, then I can generate a MAC code for you:

    1. Is your date format day/month/year, or month/day/year?

    2. Do you need your staff members to log on to the machine with a PIN number when they want to operate it?

    3. Does the machine have a bar code scanner attached?

Please answer these three questions, and I'll help you out.

Just do the initialisation the same way you did before (jnl feed), but you can't use the old MAC codes on these machines. Use code 12520. When you hear the double beep, press subtotal again.

The machine should now be ready for programming.

That's strange. It will usually be able to work as a simple register straight away. remember that the keyboard will be setup as default now, so make sure your CASH button is in the same position as the layout in the manual. also try using other payment methods, eg credit

So, if you turn key to REG mode, press 1 on the numeric pad, then a department, then CASH, how far does it get?

  • flexion1

Ok. It still sounds like the payment keys have been shifted. Do the payment keys look like they are in the same position as the ones in the book?

In that case, it sounds like you have a fault in this machine. I can't think of any reason why the payment methods won't work straight after a RAM clear. I suspect the keyboard has problems. It might pay you to get it checked over by a dealer.

Hi Good Day!
Before you reprogrammed it, check everything first,
if there is a reset setting, try to use it before you reprogramming it.

What 2200 reset

Since your question is very poor, I'll assume you mean a full program clear on a Casio TE-2200. This machine requires the codes which you get from the dealer manual to reset it. Casio don't give out these codes but one of the users has the dealer programming manual here:

I can't add a name to a department key on a Casio TE-2200 cash registetr

Make sure you are using the text layout in the manual if the text is not inputting correctly. Also, don't forget to use the double zero button when changing between text input and placement to the keyboard.

Casio TE2200 stuck in INIT mode and wont let any cashier log on. I have just done a factory reset and set time, date, dept names, and cashier names. Now no-one can log on or off and it seems the till...

It sounds like you might have used the wrong clerk system in your MAC code. If you use a single clerk button on keyboard, you need clerk code set in the MAC code. If you use the clerk buttons at the top of the keyboard, you need to set clerk key in the MAC code. If you tell me the MAC code you used during the reset, I can see which system you are using.

Which MAC code are you typing in? Have you used the table in the dealer manual to work out the correct code for your country and programming needs? If you need the dealer programming manual, there is one here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2200_and_TE-2400_dealers_manual.html

Im using TE2400 but i do know how to set table number into the mechine

Hi. You type the table number, then press the NEW/OLD button, or sometimes it may have a NEW CHECK button. The machine must be set up for table tracking before you can use these functions. Your dealer should have set the MAC code for table tracking files, then memory allocation for enough tables, then the keyboard buttons required for tracking.

Casio TE 2200 0 instead of 0.00 I just bought the new te 2200 but i can not programing. is that the problem with mac code ?

Yes. This machine has not had a RAM clear and system settings performed. Take it back to the dealer and ask them to perform the dealer programming on it, then you can program the user data for products etc yourself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If anyone needs a Casio TE-2200 manual, go here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2200_users_manual.html
