Question about Snom 320 IP Phone
The standard comm port (which the modem is connected to ) can be read by code. The callerId info would be in the buffer of the call.
This page has some code for doing that:
As for telling if it is picked up, you would have to poll the modem for the ATH command that says the line is "off hook".
