Shut down remove the plug, it may have blown the power supply or just about anything else. Impossible to tell without opening the case and running tests, unless you are a tech or very handy with this sort of electronics, it needs professional help at this point. Don't leave it plugged in, you could have a fire.

My desktop monitor doesn't show anything once i turn it on

Just plug in the monitor with no video signal. It should display something like No Signal. If it does, then the monitor is ok and you have a video card or OS problem

Dell xps 630 made a noise and kicked off....will not turn back on.

I know this may sound strange, but smell the back of the tower on your PC. If you smell a scent of burning - your power supply has gone out and will need to be replaced.

Strange hissing sound and smell comes from the monitor

Whenever you experience an unusual smell coming from anything electrical, always turn it off and/or disconnect it from any power source until you learn more about the problem. A fire can make make any problematic device seem suddenly unimportant.

An extremely common component in nearly any electronic device is a capacitor. The sizes vary from baby-tooth-sized to bowling-ball-sized found in the power box for most photography studios. The hissing sound is likely caused by one of these. The noisy capacitor may be going bad or another component or an electrical short may be causing it to get too much power. I've attached a video of what happens when capacitors get too much power.

An electrical short could also be causing both symptoms. If the smell is similar to burning organic matter, you likely have an insect (a crispy critter) that can be removed to remedy your problem. However, an electrical burn usually releases gases from burning rubber or plastic and has a distinctly different type of odor. If that's the smell and you are handy with a soldering iron, remove the cover to your monitor and look for signs of burning or overheating. Otherwise, the task should be left to an electronics shop for repair.

While playing starcraft 2, the computer screen flashes random colors and then freezes. It also makes a strange smell.

Not sure about the smell as this may be an indicator of a failing monitor and should be used with caution.. Otherwise it sounds like when you start up the game, it is changing the resolution to a setting that your monitor can not support. Please check you monitors resolution settings and make sure they are set the same as in Option in your game.

My PC won't turn on, but the power light on the front of my computer is blinking. None of the fans inside my case are spinning. Does this mean I have to replace my motherboard, power supply, or something...

Sounds like your Power Supply Unit(PSU) is playing up, have you installed anything new lately like more Ram, Graphics card etc.. maybe a Stick of Ram is failing, no smell of burning from the Tower/Case? If your P.C. is no longer in warranty then disconnect it from the mains supply and then remove side panel and just take a look for and signs of damage burnt, smell of smoke etc.. if no signs of that then plug in the mains and watch and listen ofr anything strange.. continuous beeps, wurring sounds etc.. If the only thing is the front light still blinks then check on the internet via another P.C. and look for troubleshooting solutions on the make and model of your P.C. website. If still no joy you could possibly change the PSU over for a new higher WATT one, they come at reasonable prices.

Fuse blows after about 50-60 seconds

If the motor is not smelling of burning or making strange noises I would think you have a problem with mains lead having an internal short circuit. Replacing mains lead should sort this.
If motor is smelling or not sounding correct then you need a new motor.
