Incorrect disc signal trays won't open

when pushing open/close it grinds like it is working but does not open and incorrect disc shows up on screen. Neither vcr or dvd will open

its the problem of lens in your unit that hass to be replaced.to make it proper.many a times cleaning the lens with a dry tissue solves the problem but for that you will have to open the unit.its simple just have to removce all the screws.
