Hard disk is a data & software collection point.

DC controller pcb is a main pcb in the copier they control all the copier function.

If you don't want print from your ir 550 or have any trouble from print board, you can also operate copier for copying purpos without print board to remove print board from copier.

What dc controller and where do I locate it?

Dc controller is the board that handles all standard Dc voltages for motors, fans etc in the printer. They are located in a different location depending on the model of printer you have.

HP Laserjet 4345MFP
Backlight on printer display does not light.
Counts up the 256MB memory then HP logo (3 sizes) appears (just visible)
The 3 lights keep cycling on the display. Thats it, does nothing else.
It has been left overnight and continues to display the logo and cycling 3 lights.
Rear DC Cont Fan is turning. No other fans or activity with machine.
When ADF/scanner/mfp or hard disk are disconnected it does recognise this and throws an error and asks for reboot.
I have tried cold reset, nvram init. and hard disk init. but no difference.
Your thoughts?

Error E000 on Canon NP 6317.

IX. SELF DIAGNOSIS The DC controller PCB has a microprocessor that diagnoses the functions of the copier (particularly the sensors) at appropriate intervals. If this microprocessor detects an abnormality, it will display the type of the abnormality on the indicator on the control panel. The table below shows the various fault codes, their meaning, and the corresponding detection timing. Example of E000 code indication: Eó000 light alternately. Fault criteria • If the temperature difference between the thermistors 1 and 2 is 60°C or higher. • If the fixing asssembly temperature is lower than 50°C after 15 sec from the power-on. If the tempereture remains 220°C or higher for 0.1 sec or longer. If warm-up is not over after 60 sec from when the temperature reached 50°C. If fixing unit temperature drops below 50°C when the copier is in stand by or copying. If the C HEAT CHECK signal is on while the HEAT ON signal is off. If the main motor speed feedback signal does not appear after 2 sec from the main motor. If the break signals is generated continuously for 0.1 sec or more when the counter is not being driven. Code displayed Main cause Fixing roller heater (LA1) low temperature error Thermistor1 (TH1), Power supply assembly, Fixing roller heater (LA1), or DC controller PCB Fixing roller heater (LA1) low temperature error: Thermistor, fixing roller heater, AC driver, power supply assembly, DC controller PCB, thermoswitch (F1), auxiliary thermistor (TH2) Fixing roller heater (LA1) low temperature error: Thermistor (TH1), fixing roller heater, power supply assembly, DC controller PCB, thermoswitch (F1), auxiliary thermistor (TH2) Fixing heater ON timing error: Triac (U104) on power supply assembly Main motor error: Main motor (M1), DC controller PCB Counter (CNT1), DC controller PCB E000 E001 E002 E003 E004 E010 E030

The progress bar on LOADING's screen never finish

Are you getting a error code on the display screen???? Is the code a E0601-001? If so the problem may not be the DC controler. The company you called either have No idea what the code means or they are setting you up for a big bill.... 9 out of 10 times the solution is that the Hard Drive has crashed and it needs to be replaced..... The IR-6000 hard drive will work in the IR-5000 just as long as they are bother using the print funcation or they are bother not using the print funcation.... Good Luck

Go to "Canon Support.com" Look for Your model in the "All in one" devices. You can down load a program that will have all the features as the original disk, or just the Drivers You may need to use with a different operating system. Good Luck. Chuck.

Trouble with my canon copier ir 2870

E000602-0113 means that the hard drive is having problems booting up. You may try to remove the boot chip and clean the contacts with rubbing alcahol and reinstall it and turn the copier back on. Most likely you will need to replace the hard drive or try to re-flash the hard drive.
