These do this all the time just let it sit for 10 minutes and it should fire back up.

I have an Echo PB-500T blower that won't throttle up. I bought this blower new about 3 months ago. Before this blower I had an exact same blower that gave me the same problem. I returned that blower...

Remove the in tank fuel filter and take it apart, the felt Echo uses on the filter clogs quickly. There is still a mesh screen filter in the assembly so make sure you put it all back together and reinstall the fuel filter into the tank.

Echo pb251h. Blower will only stay running if i pump primer knob. Carb was rebuilt, changed fuel filter, checked exhaust port, insulater appears to be ok, compression test around 100psi,new fuel lines and...

when the carb was "rebuilt" Did you pull out the screen and clean it out and also did you pull needle and diaphragm out and clean it out good, because if the needle is not working or the neoprene tip is swollen your needle adjustment will be out of whack, sometimes carb cleaner will make it swell up to where it won't open enough to get fuel through it....suggest you replace the needle and adjust your height of the tab to flush with the body of carb and make sure you have a good diaphragm in it along with new check-valve diaphragm, then make sure your primer is hooked up right ..it should be pulling fuel through the filter to carb and through carb and back to tank, your problem is definitely in the fuel system, keep trying different things you will figure it out

My Echo Leaf Blower (PB-251) will not run at high speed. It is running to rich. Help please. Charlie

I've been fighting with an Echo PB-251 blower and an Echo SRM-225 string trimmer since near the end of last lawn season (this is the forth season I've had them). Along comes a thread on a firearms forum and lo and behold the answer to the problem is spelled out in terms even I can understand.

After reading that thread (which attributes the problem of the engine bogging down when throttle is activated to collapsing fuel lines) I was going to just replace the fuel lines, but I discovered that there are kits that include new fuel lines, rubber grommets, filters, clips and cap seals for about $13.00 each. Hell, the kit for the SRM-225 even provided a new primer bulb. Ten minutes after the UPS truck delivered them to my door I had both machines running like new again. If you've tried other things and it still hasn't worked I highly suggest you try this.

I have this same blower: Echo PB-403T When I throttle it up it trys to stall: Idles perfect and light throttle-Asked my local small engine repair guy,he did a compression check and it was around 92.He said...

Well for what its worth I have ran them with alot less compression than that...its the air cleaner plugged or exhaust is plugged or the fuel filter is plugged or last of all the high speed jet needs turned (H) screw 1. Take out air cleaner and try it, clean and install. I bet thats it, if not check in tank for fuel filter, clean and install, and then others I mentioned before. Good Luck. 70 lbs compression will run and run correctly, just a bit doggy.
