Question about Canon PIXMA MP530 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Cannot fix alarm

The alarm is blinking red and will not allow me to proceed with any functions... no fax, no copy, no nothing... Can you please help?. It is essential that this gets fixed....

    mp530 changed color cartridges, now warning light blinks yellow, screen says check computer. Can't find anything out of ordinary. Will not perform any function.

I had the same problem and the only way that I got it fixed was to take it into a service center. Even though it was out of warranty they still ended up covering it which tells me that it is a common defect. I don't know that your problem is the same as my unit's defect, but it is worth a try. When I took it in they didn't know if they could cover it under warranty until they got inside the machine.

J6450 Prints multiple copies


After spending a lot of time on the net looking for an answer I decided to spend some time to see what was different betweent the computers. It turns out that the 2 computers that I was having the problem on had Zone Alarm installed and the 3rd computer that it was working on did not. So I dug around in Zone Alarm and marked every HP software item as allowed. I then rebooted the computer and submitted a test page to the printer. Low and behold 1 copy as I wanted. I proceeded to test it some more and now am only getting one copy when I ask for one. The problem appears to be that Zone Alarm was messing it up. I still have Zone Alarm running, I just needed to mark HP as an accepted program under every listing in Zone Alarm.

Hi,
please follow the steps given below to power cycle and reset the product.

Perform a power cycle
  1. Turn the product off.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the product..
  3. Wait 30 seconds, and then connect the power cord to the product.
  4. Turn the product on.
  5. Make a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the control panel.
  • If the copy job is successful, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
Reset the product Follow these steps to reset the product. Step one: Perform a partial reset
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the product.
  2. Press and hold # and 3 while reconnecting the power cord to the product, and then release both buttons.
  3. Try making a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel.
    • If the partial reset resolves the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
    • If the error message displays again, proceed to the next step to try a semi-full reset.
Step two: Perform a semi-full reset CAUTION: Performing a semi-full reset deletes any saved phone numbers on the product.
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the product.
  2. Press and hold # and 6 while reconnecting the power cord to the product, and then release both buttons.
  3. Try making a color copy by pressing the Start Copy Color button on the product control panel.
    • If the semi-full reset resolves the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
    • If the error message displays again, proceed to the next solution.

Need help on lexmark x 4270


To whiom it may concern my printer wont allow me to fax or copy do to it saying paper jam,so I cleared the jam and made sure that nothing is in it but it keep saying paper jam and will not allow me to fax or copy. Can you kindly help me with this problem please.

Print function stopped working. Brother MFC 5840CN


First things first:

press menu then start bk-copy then fourtimes arrow-up button. machine will display an error code no. plz post AS A NEW POST again.

BTW: The update has nothing to do with the stopping of the machine!
