Problem for Nikon Coolpix S1 Digital Camera

Screen says "Lens Cover Error"

turned on my camera this morning with no past issues.
The screen stays on "Lens Cover Error"
WOn't let me proceed into any other menu of the camera so I can search for a solution, clue or reset button.

help?

I have a solution for Nikon coolpix S5/S6. I am not shure but it might be similar for you camera, You can try my document "nikon s5 s6 lens cover error repair.doc"  uploaded on site
