Power drain would be a better solution in this case. 1.first shut down the comp 2.unplug the charger 3. remove the battery and after press and hold the power button for 60 seconds without any charger and the battery.After the 60 seconds replug the battery and the charger and turn the computer .
press and hold the "blue" "fn" button (buttom left, second from left), as you press the F10 button and again untill you have the brightness you want.
But be avare, you use more power this way, whitch will result in shorter battery time.
sound like you charger is broken, i think tose use the same charger as the compaq presarios, evo's if you can get a used 65 wat that problem would have been fixed, but those are still pretty new, i think you can get a new charger for free if it's still under warranty
Ok... As i understand the issue there is too much flea power in the notebook that's the reason why it doesnot power up....Perform a Hard Reset...Hard Reset can be done by unplugging the A/C Adapter pin from the notebook and then removing the battery and then pressing the power button for 30secs without the battery and the A/C Adapter Pin connected to the notebook... This should reslove it incase it does not please conatact me and i will surely help you out with the issue
i have a Compaq nc6320 when i plug in the power cord the electricity led doesn't want to turn on i have changed the cords and the adapters and i doesn't power on or even charge the battery, did any one have an idea what to do in this problem?
Disconnect the AC adaptor, Take the battery out and press and hold the power button about 5 seconds. After that connect the AC adaptor and insert the battery turn it on. If issue persist please inform for further troubleshooting.
