Question about Sony Walkman TCD-D8 Personal Cassette Player
I can take the tape out
I can turn the light on, but it turns off immidiatly after
There is a sound from my TCD-D7 going like it cannot stop.
I can only stop the sound by cuting the el.
My Sony don't open. Only the light is on. Is te dead?

This sounds like the internal drive belt has broken and the mechanism is not in a "final" position. The noise you hear is hte motor trying to get the mechanism back to a known condition. This should be a simple repair for any audio repair shop. Expect a parts cost in the $5 range. Add in the local labor rate for the total repair cost.
