Simply Google it.

I got several sites, but you will ultimately have to answer

Tv hit by thunder

Do you use an outside antenna? If yes the main board is shot. There is a fuse on the power suppl board inside the TV. It may be burned.

I have a zenith z42pq20 about a year and 3 month yesterday a hear a thunder, my tv was on, there.s a power failure and then the standbay light turn red but the tv doesn't turn on. The light doesn't...

Sounds like you took a hit. Unplug your set for 30 minutes and plug it bcck in. It could have just locked up the micro. If this does not fix, unplug the set and take the back off. Plug the set back in and check the powersupply for your 5 volts dc. If it is there, replace your main pcb.

Not getting power to tv.Socket and plugs are getting power ,there was a thunder storm, but every thing else fine.

The problem of your tv is the power supply the thunder storm cause that. You should unplug your tv when not in use, try to check the fuse if busted, their are two classification of a busted fuse, if the fuse is only open try to replace it but if the fuse is all burned out dont just replace it, it has a shorted parts like the regulator and the bridge type rectifier
