I have a MASTER 165K Torpedo Heater that won't always start

I have a MASTER 165K Torpedo Heater, that won't always fire up when turned on, I have to unplug/plug it in til it finally fires up.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Ours does the same thing, if you watch the heating element lights up, then it'll shut off and the pump and blower kick in. They're not in sync.

I take we are talking about the glass on the front ? if so turn fire up to high for 5min letting the glass heat up this should help remove the streaks .

Replaced ac unit with new compressor. Fires up as usual but compressor wont start.No fault code coming on controller. Whats the problem?

How do I fix my electric heater


  • sounds like the sensor or bulb that tells it to start the blower is defective/ im not familiar with your unit but this seems the most logical answer most furnace will not turn the blower on right away usually 90 seconds after the ignition but will also run longer to exhume any dangerous carbon monoxide. Electricic heaters are different. What type of unit do you have
