Friend to make your laptop run faster you need to upgrade the hardware such as video card use 512 gb or higher. the memory 2gb or higher, the hardisk 120gb or higher hardisk space makes the software run faster. and lastly the processor to be contented. remember in upgrading the bigger and the higher the better it works. thats all good luck hope i helped you.

#1 answer; add RAM. What's your system specs?

When you start getting into "upgrade processor", that's starting to borderline on "upgrade PC". Not saying that Josh is wrong, but if you upgrade everything in his list, you could probably get a faster PC at a comparable price, especially if you have these upgrades done professionally. I still say #1 answer is upgrade RAM, I agree with minimum 2gb. Adding RAM is going to give you immediate results, and it's an easy install you can do yourself. Lack of RAM is the most common problem with slow computers.

What are your system specs, ie, how much RAM do you have, what is your processor and processor speed, how big is your hard drive, and what is your hard drive RPM? What do you use your PC for, ie, what runs slow that you want to be faster?

The "hardisk" isn't going to make as much of a difference as RAM. For example, if you're only using 25% of an 80 gig hard drive, upgrading to a 200 gig hard drive isn't going to make any noticable difference. The hard drive is the computer's long term memory, it's what stores information for use. RAM (random access memory) is the PC's short term memory, the memory the PC uses to function and operate the applications stored in the HD. If you have an abundance of RAM you can function more processes faster. If your computer has an open RAM slot (which it probably does if you've never upgraded your RAM) you can add RAM to it really easy. The thing is, it's best to match your current RAM card, rather than excede it. For example, if your computer has 1 gig of RAM, you're better off adding another 1 gig RAM card, rather than adding a 2 gig RAM card. That's difficult to explain, but the gist of it is, 2 RAM cards of equal size will function together smoothly.

There's a door on the bottom of your PC, it probably says "RAM" on it, it probably has a screw in it. Shut down your PC, remove the screw and open the door. If there's an empty slot there, which I'm betting there is, it's available for more RAM. Before you shut down your PC, go to your Control Panel and open "System" ("Classic View"). There you can see how much Memory (RAM) you currently have installed. Match that in your vacant RAM slot to double your RAM, and you will have a faster PC.

Toshiba Satellite A200-28s battery options besides stock Fujitsu

Any SATA drive will fit up to the size limitations of your motherboard. A 1Gb is about the norm now. WD, Samsung, Hitachi etc all about the same.
A 7200 speed will give you a slightly faster seek and write time or go for an SSD drive. All are compatible if SATA 2.5" format.

Toshiba Satellite a70-s256 fan issues

Instead, turn the computer off.
Disconnect the AC power.
Remove the battery.
Purchase a can of compressed-air.
Give your computer a "blow-job", to remove all the dust that has accumulated inside your computer.
The dust has been acting as "insulation", forcing the fans to run faster, and with more noise.

Cooler computer -> quieter computer.

Which wireless card for Toshiba Satellite 1905-S301??

Lots of incompatibilities and covering pin 13 does NOT solve the problem with this series laptops. Get the MPC13A-20/R 802.11b card - it works wonderfully well, even though it's only a 'b' card.

How can I make my laptop works faster?

You don't say what OS, assuming XP
I'd try the following:
Run windows disk cleanup and defrag
Run a cleanup program like ccleaner
Run a registry cleaner like regcure or eusing
If that doesn't help add more memory (you should have at least 1GB and preferably 2) or switch to Linux :-)

Toshiba satellite 2805-S301 laptop wireless card

Not wireless ready - as none of the 2805's were ever pre-wired with wireless card antennas. You can install a PCMCIA wireless card, or use a USB wireless adapter. Either one will work - the PCMCIA cards will be faster.
