You can connect to internet and follow the procedure
go to --- my computer > right click on it > go to properties > device manager > click on the computer name shown in device manager screen >click scan for hardware changes > then the driver will install automatically .
Check in the device manager if your computer is seeing the wireless card driver.
Right click my computer, properties, hardware, device manager, network adapters.
Is the wireless card listed?
If it is right click uninstall and reboot on reboot the wireless card should be seen as new hardware follow the wizard and let it install the driver.
If the computer is seeing the card but it has a yellow mark next to it the driver is not loaded you need to get the appropriate driver for that type of card from it's support site or once again try the uninstall reboot.
That’s the wireless card.
Is the net-gear showing an internet connection.
Put a cat 5 cable from your laptop to the net-gear and try to connect via cable if that works it's got to be the wireless card driver or the wireless settings in the net-gear however if they worked previously there is no reason to suspect the router settings.
Hope this helps
Hello, motorola phone pc suite or phone tools software no longer works for using net from mobile. It may better to use bluetooth dongle to connect net. Just purchase a bluetooth dongle then install driver n on your phone's bluetooth and connect it with dongle select PAN connection if possible otherwise make dial up connection. This will surely work Hope this will solve your problem...
Right click on my computer, go to properties. Click the tab marked hardware. You will see a new window open up. check this window for any exclamation marks, question marks, red x's etc. This is all of the drivers for your computer. Drivers are software that make the hardware work properly. It is a possibility that a driver is missing with the problem you described. Hope this helps.
Dear waynenear, try to right click on MY COMPUTER and choose PROPERTIES on context menu. Then find the HARDWARE tabs, Select the DEVICE MANAGER, then click on one of the hardware (best is click on the USB symbol) then click the icon of SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES, your webcam should be recognized as hardware with yellow question mark icon, right click on it, then choose update driver (you must connect to internet), then on dialog of add new hardware select yes, then find your webcam driver on the net.
Did the belkin card came with the driver CD? If so, make sure to put it in your optical drive on you laptop, from here..
Try to reveal your DEVICE manager by follow these steps below:
Start>MyComputer>(right click on it)>(select the 'properties' on context menu)>Select the 'Hardware' tabs on MyComputer properties box>Then Choose the 'device manager'>END
On 'DeviceManager' Box, find and click the 'SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES' icon and let the computer configure themselves...
If you see the Yellow Question mark on the related hardware, right click on it and choose UNINSTALL, Answer YES. Once again please run the 'SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES'... If your system info tells you found new hardware, direct to install the driver to your driver CD.
Any other way is to copy the folder containing the driver from your desktop computer to a flashdisk (Used to be folder containing the drivers are located on C:windows/system32/drivers/driver..
Follow the previous step and direct your wizard of new hardware to the flashdisk and let windows copy by itself. Then reboot your laptopPC with the belkin card plugged in.

If you are not using your modem to connect to internet or something else you can get by... Follow the steps... Right click on "my Computer" click on "properties" click on "Hardware" tab click on "device manager" Find your modem in the list and click on it once. On the menu bar at the top click on "action" and select "disable" That should stop your computer looking for drivers for your modem. If it doesn't work, it may be your web browser. Check your internet connection settings and make sure you browser is not trying to use dial up connection. Go to your internet explorer properties click on connection tab and check "never dial" option for dial up connection. Good Luck :)
