Restarting when? While booting?

If you have having boot problems and the systemkeeps restarting, then turn off the computer, then hit the power button andimmediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Scrolldown past Safe Mode and you will see an option to DISABLE AUTOMATIC RESTART.Take the Disable Automatic Restart option.

We buy a new computer and we are going to set up an O.S. what would be d 1st step

Well, the Ist step is to enter the setup by pressing delete as the system turns on. Now choose BOOT DEVICE PRIORITY and make the Ist preference CD ROM and second one HDD. Now press F10 to save and quit. When the system restarts, it will ask you to press any key to boot from CD. Then you will have to press a key within 3 seconds.

After one round of copying completes, the system restarts itself. On restarting, again press delete and make the BOOT DEVICE PRIORITY as it was earlier i.e; HDD Ist and CD ROM second. Press F10 again and upon auto restarting, the installation will resume and complete itself.

Hope this one solved your problem. If you have additional doubts, please come back to us.

Regards
Sunny.

My computer msi brand is automatically restarting and some problem are appear but i cant read becouse it is continusly restarting...i rem the time when im not in my mood and keep badtrip to my computer so...

You have two options to remedy the problem. You really need to access the computer in Safe Mode and view the System Logs to determine the offending piece of hardware or software or virus. But your real question is how to stop the reboot. Use the F8 Key during boot. Right after you turn the computer on, start hitting the F8 Key. The Windows Boot MEnu will appear. at this point you can do one of two things to try to fix the problem. You can enter the computer in Safe Mode which load Windows with only the minimal necessary hardware and software drivers. If you want to see the error message, choose option 8 which tells the computer not to automatically restart after an error. This will enable you to determine the error message on the screen and prevent the system from just going through an endless loop of starting, erroring-out and restarting..

F8 (during boot) Holding F8 when booting displays the Windows Boot Menu
SHIFT (during boot) Holding SHIFT down when booting forces Windows into Safe Mode

Let me know if I can be of any other assistance to you

When i login my system after booting automatically restart

plz boot into safe mode.
steps for safe mode
when you swithch on the pc hit the F8 key when bios screen is comming.
after that you will see boot in safe mode. select it and follow the instruction.
If the pc not restarting now then you have some driver problem.
you have to open device manager and disable one driver at a time and reboot normaly.
Untill you find the problemtic driver.
You have to reinstall the driver when you find it.
If you pc is restarting in safe mode also then try with a new ram.

Help my hp dv2000 just keeps restarting??

Hi,

As the computer is working in safe mode, it is clear that operating system files are corrupt.

Perform a repair installation, if it is Windows XP.

For Vista or Windows 7, you can perform system restore from recovery console. To launch recovery console, insert the disc- restart the computer and boot into the disc. Choose repair in the options tab, then choose system restore from the list.

Nags
